I know I’m late to the party, but want to note this for me anyway: Bruce Nussbaum and team have fourteen innovation predictions for 2008 ready:

Been there, seen that. But anyway, this is interesting and thought-provoking (see the slideshow). I don’t buy all of these and will make a mental note for end December 08 to check back. But some, like e.g. innovation as strategy and more applications-rich mobile communications are almost too obvious.
