The name of the service pays tribute to Unix pipes, which let programmers do astonishingly clever things by making it easy to chain simple utilities together on the command line.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Im letzten Jahrhundert habe ich in der Tat unter Unix programmiert, wird mir hier allerdings nicht viel helfen, zudem sind meine ersten erfolgreichen Versuche mittlerweile zwangsweise gestoppt, der Server ist down.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.de-bug.de\/blog\/archives\/1300.html\">de:bug<\/a> macht deutlich, warum so ein &#8220;do-it-yourself&#8221; RSS-Remixer Sinn macht:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Warum will man das benutzen? Erstens ist die Schwemme an RSS-Feeds, durch die man sich mittlerweile k&auml;mmt, manchmal nur noch schwer zu bew&auml;ltigen. Dann steigt man um auf spezieller Blog-Searchengines, aber das hat eben den Nachteil, dass man nicht sonderlich speziell suchen kann.
